Decisions, decisions.

Isn't it crazy how something as simple as a phone call could potentially change your whole life?

Decisions make up the majority of a person's life. What type of shoes to wear? Which movie you should go see? What colour to paint your nails? Should you take the road with less construction or the fastest route?

People make decisions everyday, but most of the time, you don't realize you are doing it until one of those really big, life altering decisions come into effect.

Like, if I should go to Toronto for a volunteer hosting position. It's only an audition, but if I were to get it. I'd be packing up and moving for the Fall as well as looking for another job so I can afford to live on top of looking for a new (and cheap) apartment.

I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, but my life revolves around planning that next major step.

I guess you could say that (for some reason) I always have to have life mapped out, even if I don't quite know the direction I'm headed.

It's better to be safe than sorry!

You Are The Only Exception **

Love.
I really don't know what that word actually means...
The topic of love is one of the most intense and meaningful words to us human beings.
It can relate to so many different scenarios.
You can love your dog. You can love your cat. You can love your mom. You can love your dad. You can love your child. You can love your boyfriend. You can love your girlfriend. You can love your husband. You can love your wife.

But what does it mean to love? It's the same word for each type of feeling. But it feels different in every scenario. It means something different.

You have unrequited love for your family. You don't really forget about them.

But when you love a "significant other" sometimes that feeling doesn't last forever like say, with your child.

You think you will love that person forever but then throughout time it fades away.
And not even that (sometimes you WILL love the same person forever), but what happens when you are with someone and think you will always be with that person, and then it all falls apart. Breaks apart in your hands and you are left with nothing but a memory?

Those sort of things just don't happen with family.

But what happens when you bounce back from that heartache and find someone new to give your bandaged up heart to? Do you think it will last forever once again? Do you start fresh? Do you show your bruises?...

Do you stop believing and just participate in the "game of love" just for something to do?

I really don't know what the word love means anymore but "I'm on my way to believing" that unrequited love exists with the same person. I just hope to god that I am right.

Eat, Pray, Love-Complete.

So after a month or so of trying to get through the book, "Eat, Pray, Love," I finally finished it. When I say "trying to get through," let me clarify that it was not because the book was boring or hard to read, I was just caught up in daily activities that caused a barrier with me and my reading.

Allow me to say that this book was: Refreshing, soul cleansing, and inspirational.

Anytime I felt sad, I would pick up this book. Any time my spirits needed uplifting, I would pick up this book.

Something about Liz's journey to Italy, India and Indonesia and the tales she told about her adventures allowed myself to feel hopeful about God and Love.

I'm really not much for Religion and some of my beliefs are all over the place (although that is a topic for another time), but this book was very spiritual and somehow I still found myself wanting to know about her relationship she built with God and her different beliefs. I found that many of her beliefs about religion matched up with my own. Hinduism for example was spoken about in this book briefly, and I found that I believed in a lot of that Faith.

It wasn't all about God though. It had a lot to do with how her travels helped her discover herself and what makes her happy.

So much about this book is a reminder about why being negative is a waste of time and how happiness always wins in the end, no matter what.
